Q:Earlier,Mark was asked to explain his own energy on the ice, I guess what d’you see from him-

Petro:[laughing in disbelief] “It’s- it’s crazy-”

[press corps starts laughing]

Q:[through laughter] “And I guess- I guess what does that do for the rest of you guys?”

Petro: [audibly delighted] “I love it. Never seen anyone get so excited. [laughs] Think he almost broke my hand on the first celly.

[more laughter from press corps]

Stone: [quitely] “Had been a while, bro.”

Petro: “Yeah, ah- y’know what, I think when- when your leader’s showing that much emotion, it does trickle down, right, so. And the good thing about it is, ah, he gets just as excited if somebody else scores than if he scores, so that kinda trickles down to the rest of us, but uh, it is really funny to watch.”

himbeaux-on-ice:

absolutely goddamn hilarious: Mark Stone missing/hitting posts on all those excellent prime-spot scoring chances in like every game he’s played this year, only to finally get his first goal of the season while falling flat on his stomach at the center-ice line and sliding around like a curling Stonerock

hockey.

BUT I THOUGHT THAT MARK WAS THE OLDER ONE???

hello welcome to THE funniest part of this duo that i get to watch everyone else go through the exact same as i did, ie the part where they learn mark stone only just turned 30 last month and is, indeed, just under four years younger than max pacioretty. god this never gets old lmaoooo
